3. Deposits and Payments
A deposit may be required to reserve an installation date, order materials, or begin work.
Unless otherwise stated in writing, deposits may be applied toward the total project balance.
Remaining balances are due according to the payment terms listed on the applicable invoice, estimate, proposal, or agreement.
Failure to make payment when due may result in delayed service, cancellation, collection activity, or additional fees where permitted by law.
4. Scheduling
Installation dates and service dates are subject to availability.
Christmas Glow Co. may need to reschedule services due to circumstances including:
Severe weather
Unsafe working conditions
Equipment issues
Material delays
Staffing issues
Emergencies
Other circumstances outside our reasonable control
We will make reasonable efforts to notify customers of scheduling changes.
5. Customer Responsibilities
Customers are responsible for providing accurate information regarding the property and requested services.
Customers must provide reasonable access to areas necessary for installation, maintenance, repair, and removal.
The customer should notify Christmas Glow Co. of known hazards, electrical issues, structural concerns, underground utilities, restricted areas, pets, gates, access codes, or other conditions that may affect service.
6. Property and Installation Conditions
Christmas Glow Co. will use reasonable care when performing services.
Certain installations may require the use of clips, fasteners, temporary attachment methods, ladders, lifts, electrical connections, extension cords, or other installation equipment.
Customers acknowledge that normal installation and removal may create minor temporary marks or wear depending on the property surface, materials, age, and condition.
Christmas Glow Co. is not responsible for damage caused by pre-existing defects, deteriorated materials, improper electrical systems, hidden conditions, customer modifications, third-party work, severe weather, animals, landscaping activity, or other circumstances outside our reasonable control.
7. Electrical Requirements
The customer is responsible for ensuring that suitable electrical outlets and systems are available unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Christmas Glow Co. is not responsible for electrical failures, overloaded circuits, faulty outlets, breaker issues, GFCI trips, or electrical conditions caused by systems outside our control.
Additional electrical work may require a licensed electrician and may result in additional charges.
8. Materials and Equipment
Ownership of lighting materials and equipment will be determined by the applicable estimate, invoice, proposal, or service agreement.
If Christmas Glow Co. owns the materials, the customer may not remove, modify, sell, relocate, or allow another party to alter those materials without authorization.
If the customer owns the materials, Christmas Glow Co. is not responsible for defects, manufacturer failures, compatibility issues, missing components, or limitations associated with customer-supplied products unless specifically agreed otherwise.
9. Maintenance and Service Calls
Christmas Glow Co. may provide maintenance or repair services based on the terms of the customer's service agreement.
Service response times may vary depending on weather, workload, season, availability, and the nature of the issue.
Damage caused by customers, animals, landscaping crews, contractors, severe weather, power problems, or other outside causes may not be covered and may result in additional service charges.
10. Cancellations
Cancellation terms may vary depending on the service, project, materials ordered, and time of cancellation.
Deposits, custom materials, special-order products, completed labor, and other committed costs may be non-refundable where disclosed in the applicable estimate, invoice, proposal, or agreement and where permitted by law.
